First and foremost, our focus during the Northeastern Regional TpT Meet-Up is to provide attendees with tons of opportunities to learn best practices to grow their businesses. But, we don’t want our meet-up to be “all work, and no play!” That’s why we’re excited to offer this super fun (and creative) networking activity. It’s a make-n-take hand-lettering class! Actually, it’s a brush-lettering class because participants will be learning how to write inspirational words with a watercolor brush!
We’re bringing in a special instructor to teach two sessions of the brush-lettering class on Friday, April 7th at Woodcliff Hotel and Spa. Anna Vos will be leading 2 sessions for flock attendees who would like to socialize, network, laugh, and create with a watercolor brush in hand! You’ll learn all about hand-lettering and create two business-inspired words to take home and use to decorate your TpT creating-space — or gift to a TpT colleague!
WHEN: Friday, April 7th at 4:30 or 8:30 (scheduled before or after the group dinner)
WHERE: Conference room at Woodcliff Inn and Spa
COST: $17 (payment due when registering; you will take home two brush-lettered pieces)
SIGN UP: Sign up to take the class HERE.
*** Spots are limited and first-come, first-serve! ***
This networking event promises to be fun and creative! But here’s fair warning . . . after you take the class, you might become a little addicted! My friend and I took a class in town and she now brush letters her sons’ lunchbox notes!
If you’d like to sign up for one of the sessions, you can do so HERE.
I’ll be there! I hope you will be, too!
P.S. Here’s a little bit more information about Anna Vos!
Anna Vos is a modern calligrapher who has always loved the aesthetics of words. She is mostly self-taught and has completed Liss Smith’s freestyle calligraphy course. Anna lives in the Highland Park neighborhood with her husband Elliot and their two children, Ruby and Rory. She enjoys pretty words, making music, feeding people, and nerdy literature and television. You can find her shop, OwlPostLettering, on Etsy for custom-lettered pieces and other nerdy artwork. She teaches both Brush Calligraphy and Dual-Brush Lettering at the Rochester Brainery.
